LandAmerica One Stop now Epic Real Estate Solutions

And it seems they are following recent trends. Here is an excerpt:

"As a part of the transfer, there will be an adjustment to the accounting procedures and the payment of the vendor checks. The policy of Epic Real Estate is to issue payment for all accounts payable once a month, during the first week of the second month following the date of completion of the order."

The second month? Am I reading this correctly? It says that this will be part of the transition, which I could understand as they catch up (and they do say that everyone will get paid). But I didn't see anywhere where they will eventually convert to a more reasonable time frame for issuing payment.

And here's the kicker, on the next page:

"Dear Vendor,

You are receiving this notification as you were a preferred notary for LandAmerica OneStop, a company that was sold and has become Epic Real Estate Solutions, Inc. We here at Epic are committed to developing a core group of quality notaries around the country and would like to re-connect to those vendors whom LandAmerica OneStop had a relationship in the past.

Our fee structure will remain the same with the exception of the electronic document fee (edocs), which will be a standard $15 fee on top of your notary fee..."

Yeah, that's a great way to attract "quality notaries"! I didn't work for them that much before, so I don't have any idea what their fee structure is that will remain the same, but it would have to be pretty good for people to be willing to print docs for just $15 extra!

Kudos to them for at least making sure notaries who are owed will get paid. I'll keep an open mind, but so far, I'm not too impressed.

Very common payment processing. If they pay within 90 days

then I am okay with it. As far as $15.00 print fee, then just raise your signing fee by $10.00 to balance, if you feel the $15 is not worth it. KISS

I have an invoice from September 10 that Epic has not paid. I would like to know if you or anyone has been paid
