Mapquest question...

Has anyone been having a problem connecting to Mapquest?

I use mapquest so I can upload directions to my onstar system.

FYI - What I had to do to get Mapquest working...

I was getting the message:
The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

1st I checked my cookies options and I was accepting cookies
then I took come peoples advice and deleted temp files etc.
and that didn't work.

What did work was that I went in and deleted the Mapquest folder in cookies and now it works fine.

Re: FYI - What I had to do to get Mapquest working...

I have found the best maps on Rand McNally. The area I live in is rural and mapquest just did not cut it for locating my destinations. The RM directions have been right on each and every time!

Thanks for the info Anthony...I'm very rural too - RM can't find my home either, but I'm keeping it bookmarked...

I use to use mapquest but after using 'google Earth' I switched...with the cameras you can actually see the addresses curbside and have a visual of the house itself. If you haven't tried it, look at your own house.

Still love using Yahoo maps for simplicity, abbreviations. n/m
