I'm Certified and Background Screened and ready to work. How do I get called for a job? How do you use Notary Rotary to sign up with agencies? Any advice and getting my foot in the door? Thanks -

Aimala, if you are not familiar with the site you will see

an orange "search" button on top of this forum.

Do a search for the word "Marketing" to see how to get foot in door.

Do a search on message "33325" as posted earlier.

Do a search on the word " New or Newbie" also.

After you have read and digested the posts related to those, then please ask any questions that you have not already gotten answered. We have some Top Notch TX notaries on this board that will help, but you need to do some research first. We love to help when you need it, but do the research first please.

Do your research - then research some more .....

I think you will find that mortgage activity from 'outside' your local area is beginning to bottom out and stay level for a while. Meaning, your local lender will never use you as a notary no matter how busy it gets. They have their own people. Non local lenders will use you if you have experience. Depending on your zip code (look up your competition), your area might be flooded with notaries that have no work.

The industry has been on a slide the last four years. Signs of the bottom are appearing. It will be next year before it starts to climb again.
