Phoenix, Arizona
HELP Please! My friend is thinking of relocating to the Phoenix, Az. area and just doing loans at night there, part time. I was looking though and it looks pretty saturated! I have encouraged her not to do closings there due to this and look for another job. Would any of you in Phoenix care to comment?

I'm not in Phoenix, I live in Baltimore another large city and buz is pretty dead even for seasoned full time closers and it's spotty across the country. However if she has companies she works for that love her and they are national they will follow her otherwise she's going to be hungry. good luck to her.

I doubt that there are ANY areas in need of more signing agents right now. I had considered relocating to FL a couple of years ago, until the market indicated that would be a bad idea. I'm fortunate enough to be in a good area for business, so a move isn't a good idea for the time being. Whether in this business or not, I would advise people to make sure they have employment before making a move. It's harsh out there.

Very saturated.
In fact, our fees for that other database are probably the highest in the US. You don't say how old your friend is or what her skills are, but jobs are scarce as hen's teeth. I think she should stay where she is.

Re: Very saturated.
Phoenix is a very big city. Working nights and being unfamiliar with the city can be very challenging in many areas and working part time will greatly limited your calls.
