At the time I did the signing, there were some postive comments in SC. I believed them. I do like to give a company a chance. I will never work for them again.

You will get paid. I too waited a while, but it finally came.

Re: How long did it take?

You have to invoice Speedy one invoice the 1st of the mo. for the whole previous mo.
They then pay 30 days after that. Payment can run 45-60 days & you sometimes have to call.
They always pay, you just need to be aware of their system.

Re: They just called me.

I haven't heard from them in a long time. I always turn them down due to payment issues I had with them when I did a few jobs, years ago.

When I told the scheduler I was reluctant to take the jobs due to their payment history, she said "I understand."

I elaborated a bit more about how they took more than 90 days, I had to call, write, fax, etc... She just said she understood and to have a good night.

She didn't even go the route of saying 'we've changed" or "had trouble in the past, now we're on top of things' or any of that.

Almost like 'I understand, you like to get paid for your work, we'll look for someone who doesn't mind not getting paid instead.' Smile

I'm glad I read this now, because it means I did the right thing turning down their offers. Obviously they haven't changed.

Good luck getting paid. I'm sure it will come eventually.
