Techie regarding printing docs
Occasionally I get docs that will all printout on legal. But they are not on the page correctly, letter size docs are centered on the legal page. So if you try and just print them on letter paper, they cut the bottom half of the document off. Is there something I'm not doing or are they just messing up when they scan in the docs?
This last set even had a document before not lenders docs that the docs needed to be printed as formatted in the pdf.
Also when I opend the pdf package, it said there were 123 pages in the package, when I pressed print and the screen came up, it said there were only 100 pages. I have 2 computers one is XP the other Vista 64, same thing on both and same problems.
Thanks for any help.

Check to see if the docs are scanned images. (Do a search for a word such as Mortgage or Loan, if it doesn't find one, they are images of the page.) Also, check the size of the page when viewed with the Reader. If the docs were scanned in with the target page size set to legal, then letter sized documents will appear in the file as being centered when printed (and viewed) on legal size paper. There's nothing you can do if all the pages are scanned to legal size except print them on legal size paper. Otherwise, you would be shrinking the document and/or cutting off portions.

Thanks Paul, that is what I thought. Don't get them like this very often, wonder why they do this?
Thanks, again

Paul thanks: I got a call today to do a signing tonight at 6:00 P.M.. Had the very thing you just said. Docs look like they should be printed on letter size but had to print them on legal. On legal they printed off center but anything else didn't work.
