Trouble printing
Can anyone PLEASE help. I received a file came to certain docs only about 15 of them, a box came up and read and the docs were blank on my computer. (with the adobe sign on upper right hand side) that read: i " cannot extract the embedded font 'pckeia+TTE17DC208+00. Some characters may not display or print correctly." Never had this happen. I had them send to another computer in the house and it was fine. I sent it from that computer to mine and it did the same thing again. If anyone is tech out there if you can assist, thank you in advance!

If I understand this correctly, it will work on another computer in the house just fine, but not on yours?
Which computer is newer?
If the computer you sent it to and it worked fine is newer, then that is a signal to me that you probably should update Adobe to the latest version.
Also, did you try doing a hard restart on your computer? Computers that stay on 24/7 or the hibernate or sleep mode are used instead of shutting down for the night, tend to lose files and not work properly after a while and need to be restarted.
Re-start you computer before you update.
Also, don't overlook the possiblity that you may have malware of some sort on the computer.
Hope this helps ....

Thank you for your response Glen. Yes, the laptop is newer mine is 2 years old. A dell. I think I may need to upgrade my adobe. And yes I did shut my computer down and restarted. I think it is the adobe reader. Do I need to uninstall my old adobe before I install a new version?

Some say uninstalling isn't necessary, and there hasn't seemed to be any problems since Adobe 7 where if you did not unstall, it created a lot of problems. But I am a old guy caught up in the old ways and uninstall before I install the new version.
The new Adobe should fix it.
Cheers .....
