Upgrades

This upgrading thing has gotten out of hand, if you ask me. I spend more time than I'd like clicking on buttons and links to upgrade different software programs. I know. I know. It's necessary, keeps my computer safe from all the bad guys and girls, but where does it end?!

I finally upgraded MSN or Explorer this morning. Took a good hour for my computer to act right afterward. I upgraded my Blackberry Storm this weekend. Good thing I did. The camera had stopped working and calls started dropping. Pandora hasn't been the same since - I guess I need to upgrade that too.

OK. I'll stop my belly aching and get back to work. I'm sure someone out there is thinking if I'm so unhappy with computer software upgrades, perhaps I should go to the neighborhood thrift store and buy a used typewriter and see how far that gets me, right?

I still have my high school / college typewriter.

I got it out the other day when my daughter was complaining about how long it took her printer to print a term paper. "Use this" i said.

Even though I encourage to keep there stuff updated, I have learned to turn the automatic updates off and install them at a time of my choosing and I wait for a day or two to see what the feedback is on the update ......

Sympathy abounds here.

Right there with you, Michelle. Some people get so frustrated they want to go back to pencil & paper. Remember how cheap that was?
