Yahoo mail slow this am? Anyone?
ATT now uses Yahoo for email - I have more problems now than ever. Anyone else?
Sending pics to someone - you would think that they have to re-develop them. No "zoom" factor here.

actually, I have yahoo web hosting for my notary website
and its biz email, and didn't realize until yesterday, that I hadn't been getting my email since Saturday!
AND my website was down since then as well. Yahoo didn't have any answer for me as to 'why' this happened, only a frickin' apology...time for a new web hosting package....
any suggestions?

Re: Yahoo mail slow this am? Anyone? - Got mine up
I noticed my Yahoo mail issue too. My MS Office kept popping up for me to verify my username/password. I worked on it for hours last night -
It is up and running this AM. Yahoo, in their wisdom decided to change their sysyem to use SSL and changed their port settings. Geesh it sure would have been nice to send out a courtesy email to tell us this was coming.
If you check your mail through the web and go to setting up POP accounts you'll discover that you now must use "plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com" and SSl port 995 for incoming mail (used to unsecured port 11o and just pop.mail.yahoo.com). Outgoing SMTP must also be changed - connection type now is SSL encrypted and port 465.
This was driving me crazy for days now! Good luck

They Must Be Having Some Issues...
...as I couldn't download my Yahoo! Mail to my desktop Outlook. I could view mail online, but no download capability.

Re: They Must Be Having Some Issues...
That is exactly the same issue I was having until I changed my settings in Outlook. Now it works as it once did.

Luckily I only use Yahoo as a backup but a borrower sent me a copy of his license (he forgot to get one for yesterday's signing) and although it was in a PDF form I could not open or save or print it. Had to forward the email from Yahoo to my other email (Comcast) and it worked fine. Sure am glad Yahoo is not my primary.

I called this morning and they are having issues. Seems like they may have been resolved now, but it's been a slow Yahoo week.
