If they don't show up on the first page of a search engine when I type "Notary" or "Mobile Notary", then I don't bother.

I got the e-mail too

Just went to the website - can't find anything about rates other than "free to the first 1000 notaries" - can't find any fee info if I'm NOT one of the first thousand...forum looks brand new - and very quiet...

Apparently it's a new notary database. I signed up. Why not, it's free.

Thanks for the input on notarydb. i could not find any info so I didn not sign with them
