courier to courthouse

This will be a first for me. I am to take the deed and mortgage to the courthouse. I know to go to the auditor first then to the recorder, but what should I expect? Don't want to look totally like a "deer caught in headlights"...

Here you just follow the rules on the wall and they

take care of it , from there.

Re: courier to courthouse...Just tell it like it is!!

I had to do that once - shortly after I started my business here....I hd no problem letting the court clerk know up front that this was my first FL recording and I needed help with the proper procedure...they walked me through it no problem...

Beats winging it out of pride and making a mistake - they're usually pretty nice about helping out..at least in my experience they have been.
