NotRot use to offer free listing if there are less than 4 notaries in your area. Don't know if it still does but a paid membership gets you a better placement in your listing area and is worth the membership fee.

No, you don't have to pay to be listed here. However, with a free listing you will be listed on the BOTTOM half of the page (basic members) when a company does a search for a particular zip code or city/county. Therefore, you are less likely to be called first and will only be called if everyone listed above you is already busy. The paying members (premier members) are listed on the TOP half of the page. I'm a paying member and I do feel it's worth it to be on the top half.
The first year of NotRot membership may be a little pricey, but renewals are $69. Membership also gets you great discounts on the notary stamps and supplies available to purchase on this site - very good quality stuff, too.

I think notary rotary should give free premium memberships
to the folks on here that have renewed XX times and are continually helping others. I would name names, but I would hurt someones feelings...you know who you are!
Just IMO.

See the lower left corner of the notaryrotay.com home page. That's the source for the info below. I agree with others about membership being well worth the fee. May you have years of success and happiness in the business, but like most other businesses, expect hard work and a lot of frustration. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, click on the above tab titled "The Library." One of the topics within it is "Notary Membership Levels."

One more thing
One other thing that no one has mentioned is that as a Premier Member, you get a very nice discount on supplies ordered from here - and the service is exceptional. If you are doing a fair amount of business, the savings can be pretty significant. This site has paid for itself for me in many ways, including all those listed above.

Premium membership has many benefits. It places you higher on the listing for your area, gives you discounts for purchasing supplies, and gives you access to features like Signing Central. My membership fee has paid for itself many times over.
