need some info on printers
ok I had an attic fire, lost alot including all electronics, I have a great insurance adjuster who has already gotten me some money to replace some electronics (computer, etc) got a computer last night and am trying to find a good laser printer in a local store because I don't have time to wait for one to be delivered. Do any of the major stores have one on sale? I just don't have time to do the research at this time and would appreciate any suggestions ( constructive ones only) thank you.

If you want one that will handle loan paperwork.... go for the Brother 5250 DNT. You may not be able to find the dual tray model in the stores, though.
I know in some cases you can get free overnight delivery.
Your best bet for GOOD laser printer, without the wait of delivery, is to avoid the big box stores and look for an office supply place.
You might start with Maverick Office Systems:
8730 El Modena Ave Elverta, CA 95626-9565 (916) 331-4855
They sell new and refurb printers. From what I can tell, it looks to be about 30 minutes away from you.

When I am around a Fry's, that is where I go to almost always get the lowest price. Unfortunately, I don't have one near, but you have 2 fairly close. There is one just off the 80 by the Arco center and one up the 80 in Roseville. For a quickie printer choice, Marian is on the number. I do believe Fry's will have the second tray in stock. You can check the inventory online at frys.com.
Sorry about the fire. Been there, done that and it really sucks.
