call the title company........let them know their SS isn't paying their notaries. I just did that and got an immediate response from the SS that she will work with me on payment (Feb 2009 signing). I think I have you beat on the amount of time outstanding but make the call....you'll feel better.

These guys are truly horrible. I did one signing for them, waited forever and called innumberable times to see what was going on. They made excuses, said they didn't have my W9, the check's in the mail, anything to get me off the phone. They finally did pay me but it was a huge hassle, not worth the fee. They called me the other day, and I said sorry, but last time it took too long and was too hard to get paid. I wouldn't work for them ever again.

I don't see them listed in Signing Central so your post can't be linked.
Why not list them in Signing Central so other notaries know of your experience.

I will be contacting Title Companies on Monday. Thanks for the reply and they are listed on signing central at the top it is 4 Notary not Four Notary. Also it looks like 4 Notary has disconected his fax line as to not be bothered with non payment issues or invoices...

4Notary & Signing Central ...

... 4Notary is listed in Signing Central, however if you are not in Washington State the listing will not come up unless you use the work-around of putting in the company's phone number in the 'who called me' search box. Then even out of WA state viewers can see the comments & out of state notaries who have worked for them can leave comments . ( I think this tactic will work for other companies who's info disappears when one logs-on to view the comments. You do need the phone number, however.)

4Notary is doing business outside of WA state & why it isn't listed in Signing Central for all to see is beyond me. I have tried to get Notary Rotary to list it as such but have not had any luck. It certainly limits the usefulness of Signing Central, IMHO. Using the orange search button helps, though, but isn't that one of the functions of Signing Central? All I can say is notary beware.

Also, Rich can probably be reached at his other business -- http://www.luminbrokers.com/ --- where he is listed w/WA state as both a real estate broker & mortgage broker. He has a fax number listed on this web site as well.

Please post when/if you get any resolution in your quest for payment.

The last time you listed your non payment, 4 Notary emailed you and said they would pay. YOU had Notary Rotary remove the listing you originally put up about this non payment.

if the owner is a licensed mortgage broker, go after his

broker's license! Check with you state's professional licensing agency, and file a complaint.

Also call the Attorney General's office of your state AND file a complaint with the BBB...both under his notary and other business...

....with all of these folks comin' at him, about non payment issues, I'm sure he'll pay up...
