Faxing Docs
I have recently moved from Missouri to Hawaii and am considering not getting a land line. However, the problem of fax backs arises. Is there some software out there that allows one to fax without a phone line? I know that I can scan and send, but if they insist on fax backs, literally, is there a way to do it without a phone line?

Firstly, welcome to Hawaii! What island are you on?
Secondly, I don't have any land lines either. Our home phone is an internet phone line. I use rapid fax. Their site address is : http://www.rapidfax.com/homepage/ You have to have a scanner to do this though. You scan the documents and then you send the PDF file through the rapid fax site and it goes to the other end as a fax. You receive any return faxes as emails as well. I like it a lot and it only costs me $9.95 a month.

Aloha Christine
I am on Oahu, the leeward side up by Waianae. Just got here last week, so obviously not a Hawaii notary as yet. After I get settled I will apply for my commission. One of my services that I have done a lot of work with seemed to be very excited that there would be another notary here. But who knows? I'll give it a try and see how it goes. Any extra income here is a good thing!

Eileen, you may want to change or have changed your NotRot
name...still shows old State. You also may want to tweak profile and any other site profiles you are listed with. Even if you are not set-up yet as you say, it would give you an indication of whether or not the phone will ring for business in new location!
Congrats on the move, wish I could get over there or any place warmer.
