FedEx and GPS/FedEx

I've been meaning to make this post for months. I keep forgetting.

1) Tip for N. AL notaries: If you perform loan closings in the Madison/Limestone County area there is a 9:00 pm Fed Ex pick up out by the airport on Wall Triana Highway. It's hard to get to but it's out there. The location is called the HSV-RT. I spoke to the attendant. She said she usually checks the drop box at 9:15 pm to get any last minute mail. Just something to keep in mind if you're desparate to get docs out.

2) Tip for notaries w/GPS: I'm fortunate to live in a city that has numerous drop boxes for FedEx. I bet there are close to 30 in the areas I service. When I want docs to go out immediately I struggle to remember the pick up time for each of the locations. I typed up a spreadsheet but I did not always have it with me and the way the list was set up it wasn't THAT helpful.

So, I saved each FedEx location/drop box in my GPS under "FedExTime". If it is 6:30 PM and I want to know where the nearest FedEx drop is with a 6:45 pick up time, I select "FedEx645" that is saved in my GPS Favorites. I immediately see the distance and the amount of time it will take for me to get there. I forget how many addys I can save but I haven't reached my limit yet. This is especially help at EOM.

FWIW

PS: If I made this post already please forgive the oversight.

What a great idea. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it), there are only a handful of locations in my service area, so keeping track isn't a problem. They're all 4:00 PM!!

They're all 4:00 PM!! Me, too!

LOL Paul, that's funny to me, because we have the same issue.
Here in Gomer-ville, we have about 6 drop boxes.
One pickup time is for 3:30, all the others are for 4 PM.
