Gmail gone hinky?
Since week before last I have had trouble getting into my gmail accounts. It just tries to load over and over again.
I have read on various forums (after searching) that this is an issue.
Anyone else? It's true on several different computers, as well. Also equally a problem with IE as well as Firefox.

I have been having trouble with Gmail for a few weeks now. I thought it was just my computer. The screen will just "hang" for eternity saying "Loading...." Thank goodness I only use Gmail for "junk" e-mails; it's very frustrating.

All my accounts are fine. Both online and with POP3.

I've been hearing of people having problems with gmail, yahoo, etc. I'm suspecting it has to do with Internet Explorer. PAW would know more about this. I'm just thinking that the MS proprietary thing is coming into play.

Actually, gmail does better with IE but I'm reading
about it all over the Interwebz.
I am like an earlier poster. It hangs while loading for an eternity then say, "something something too large".
I closed down Firefox and opened up IE on this computer and it worked. It's very random. So far no difference in how IE handles it or FF. And, it's the same on both Vista and XP.
I think it is a google problem.

Re: Actually, gmail does better with IE but I'm reading
I agree, it's a Google Mail problem. I have no problems accessing Gmail from Firefox or IE, on either Vista or XP. I think it may be related to which mail server the account resides on. I'm sure Google has oodles and oodles of mail servers.
