I need help
My NSA is comming due to renew. I got my present through NNA. I was wondering if there is a better company to deal with. Thanks.

The NNA is the best way to go professional as well as best cost.

Why would you think so?

Disagree with Michele 100%
The NNA is not the end-all be-all of the notary world - a little research and you can get it all on your own or through other organizations - here, American Society of Notaries, PAN - just to name a few...
If I had to go through the NNA for my renewal I'd hang up my hat.

You are going to find few advocates of the NNA here. You are not very clear about what you wish to accomplish. Expand on this a bit for more answers.

Re: Jon please do a search here for NNA before you buy.
sorry, pulled the trigger early. If you are talking about your notary bond and/or E&O then I would recommend a purchase from this site. If you feel compelled to go with NNA for anything, search here first. You should check out ASN if you are looking for NSA or notary law and advice, I would not trust NNA for anything except you can trust that they want your $$$$$$$$$.

Are you referring to your Notary Public commission? If so, you should check with your state. If you're referring to insurance or something else, use the search button on this site and you should find lots of information. I get my E&O insurance from here as well as all my supplies.

Jon, in your state the Pennsylvania Association of Notaries is your best resource for all things notary. Contact them with your question.

Or are you talking about certification?
If that's the case, I wouldn't worry about it unless you are getting lots of business from them, but most of it is probably low paying. They hype it up, but as others have said, it's just another way to get more $$$ out of you. You'll get an earful if you do a search. One caveat is that there are apparently a few companies that the NNA has convinced to use only NSAs who have all their memberships, their certification and their background check. It keeps the cash flow going for them, but doesn't do much for you unless you want to work for those companies. jmho
