sorry hit the enter button too early...BUT what kind of
number is that!
And the guy who called and left a vm, had such a thick accent, that I barely made out the 800 he left, and as it turned out, didn't work anyway.
This is no biggie for me since they don't pay what I ask for anyway, and will pass me up for the next lower bidder.
They should be able to pay what I ask especially since obviously have 'high' end clients.

I noticed their standard fee for them is $35, but I don't do them for that.

First American Signature Services is in Santa Ana, CA (888) 270-3630.
They overnight the docs to you. You actually have two (2) sets of 7 pages executed (2 originals) so there's actually 4 stamps. Comes with stickies "SIGN HERE" LOL They're a piece of cake. Comes with an addressed FedEx envelope too. JJ

FYI, I am an old phone company employee, so I can tell you why the number came up all zeros. When a company has a large PBX, they can actually set what is put forward on the caller id. It is a program in their switching system. That is also why you would also see a call from a toll free number. This is just in case inquiring minds want to know

It is loan mod applications that are the problem, not loan mods. As you already have been told, FASS is legitimate, even if their fees are low. From what JJ is describing, it is 10-15 minutes of work.

A monkey could do them LOL
The signing time is booked open and you have 14 days to get them signed. You gotta call'em as soon as you accept the signing and be sure to let them know that you've called the borrower, whether you get hold of them or not at first. Once you've set a time, you notify them 24 hours in advance and they'll overnight the docs to you. You get 3 sets of docs, which are 7 pages each. 2 sets are executed as originals and sent back in the selfadressed FedEx envelope that comes with them. They actually go straight to Wells Fargo. No checks go with the docs. The borrowers pay whatever the fee is direct. Takes longer to fill out the notary journal than it does to do the actual signing. LOL

Re: A monkey could do them LOL
Even a monkey's assistant with a notary stamp could do them and the monkey could stay home. LMAO

Re: A monkey could do them LOL
From what I hear of some other notary's performance, a monkey would do a better job. LMAO, too.

No, from the heavy accented caller, he said it was a loan mod, NOT an application.

I got a call from First American national financial group
not much information when they email you. the docs. are "merged" and with their data base - so not sure about it - I attempted one this weekend - but the borrowers were asking alot of questions regarding the company and ended up spending too much time (over 1 hour ) on less than 25 pages. Any one else done business with them ? I got the call from the office in Las vegas, NV.
