Land America, new name info

Just an FYI: I received a call from Epic Real Estate Solutions (412-507-2000) to handle a closing.The lady explained they were formerly known as " Land America".I didn't ask which one, as I was still dripping wet from the shower I was taking when the call came in.I was already booked for the requested time, so there was no discussion on fees, etc.
I know there were at least 2 companies operating with similar names: Land America One stop, and Land America Financial.Yesterday I received bankruptcy info for the latter, so I'm guessing it might be Land America Financial that's now operating under the new name.

I also received the same eight pages of nothing but legalese. My vote as a creditor would be (1) put the executives in jail and (2) pay nothing to the lawyers above their printing and mailing expenses. Ok, maybe a minimal amount for their time, but not the typical millions the lawyers always seem to get "awarded" by the court, especially when they have more than one law firm involved (in this case SIX law firms).

I'm so tired of seeing the little guy get pennies or less on their claims and the lawyers and banks getting the major share of the assets. The system just doesn't give the little guy a fair shake.
