This is the former TransUnion - and yes, they try to get you to accept the lowest possible amount they can. They will shop till they drop to get the lowest rate in your area. Never had a payment problem from them in the past, but I haven't worked for them for over a year now due to their impossible rate structure.

I still haven't been paid. Everytime I call I get a differant lie. Make sure to send them your W-9 and invoice. Good luck.
