One of my pet peeves!
All these companies demand a high degree of performance from us. ( which I am happy to do) BUT- some of them drop the ball and we are suppose to forgive and forget , even though we are not afforded that luxury! My favorite one now is- I moved recently and informed all my companies in a timely manner. And handful have now sent my check to the old address-even though they had the new one? Can you imagine if we were to send docs to the wrong address? Big deal! But when they make a mistake- no big deal!??

I think you should put an order in the postal office so they can forward all your mail to your new address. I think they will do this for a year, after that you are on your own if you don't notify all the people you receive mail from.

I moved over 6 months ago and I notified EVERYONE. I get more calls now for my old area now than I did when I was there! It's the same few companies over and over. Each time, I tell them I've moved. I again give them my new address and I followup with a fax or email. It never works. Even worse, it means they AREN'T calling me in the area I need.

I moved from FL to KY 4 years ago and still get calls to do FL closings And have had several checks sent to my old address. All you can do is stay on them until they get it right. For some reason or another this always seems to take months. Good Luck

Remember that some SS get your information from web sites. If you don’t update your profile to include your new address, it can be a problem. Some SS’s get maybe 400 emails a day, so if you want your info to be correct, I suggest you keep your info updated, and notify all by regular mail.
