Multifunction Printers
I am curious if multifunction printers have gotten better? Years ago it was my understanding that they were very problematic, broke down allot, would have many software conflicts etc.
Do they last and are they reasonable to maintain?

Re: Multifunction Printers
I have a HP 3330 mfp. Bought it brand new in 2000 or 2001. Has printed 152,751 pages so far with only 39 paper jams and 9 mispicks. (Also have scanned 889 pages on the flatbed and 17,334 through the document feeder.) The only drawback to this printer is that it only has one paper source, so it's not the one I use for printing loan documents. For that I have a trusty HP Laserjet 1300t.
So, I submit, as Adam and Jamie would say, the myth is busted about being problematic, broke down a lot, etc.
