Silver Linings

I used to be the glass half empty kinda' girl. Now I try to adopt my husband's perspective on life, and have decided to let the glass be full and brimming over! Although the Mortgage Industry has pretty much come to a screeching hault, I have decided to go for "broke" so to speak (no pun intended) and really work on my Notary Signing business. I see good things in the future, and as long as I keep myself and my name out there, I will be one of the first in line to be called WHEN things start to bounce back. Okay, so they are slow now, and it may take a while to bounce back, but it will.

For all you naysayers out there in Notary Land...keep you chins up. It won't take years to start to come back, and although there won't be a flood of new homeowners right now, there will be a lot of people looking to refinance, and some who may even be looking at second mortgages. So have faith, fill that glass to the top! Mortgage Industry, here we come!!

IMO, those who are strong & persevere will come out ahead when things pick up. Unfortunately, I know many notaries who can't handle the down-turn financially, and have to find other work.
There are some areas that are harder hit than others.
This business has been good to me & I can't imagine doing anything else at this point.
Keep up the positive attitude--it is everything!
