Sox usa (can't find in search)
anyone know this company, I can't seem to find anything that is new about them since 2008 and 2006. They seem to have the peachtree account. I have done them with Superior Notary Services never had a problem with them. Now this company has call to do peachtree settlements. Thanks for any info.

Wait, isn't there a SOX USA in FL? Seems I remember that
could be wrong though. I'll look through my records but I remember working for a FL company a year or so ago with no problems. I even remember asking them why they chose that name with the other SOX bad rep.

the phone number i got is 946-643-700. There site is SoxUSA.net. But I don't get much from that either. So is this the same as the one listed on the search from 2008 and 2006. Just getting hard to trust some of these new companies.

I just called a number for a SoxUsa that I had from sometime back, but it came up disconnected just now.
My gut reaction is to run from any company that has "SOX" or "Sign on the X" in it's title.
Also, I frequent the same forums you probably do, including an "invitation only" one, and all of them require a thick skin from time to time. Not just this forum. Not visiting this forum will cause you to miss out on a lot of topics that may not be covered elsewhere.
So much has been written about Sox and SoxUsa on all the popular notary forums that I think that anyone with that name should be avoided.

Looking back at my records, I worked for SOX USA in 2007. They are located in Shawnee Mississippi, not FL like I earlier said. Sorry. I remember distinctly talking to them about their name and why did they choose a name like SOX with the other company's reputation. They said it hasn't been a problem when they explain they are NOT the same co. Boggles my mind also that they choose to do that knowing the other Sox reputation. Again, I had no problems getting paid.

All you have to do is bring up SOX, who is known to be the worst in the business, and you will get a lot of negative flack. It is assumed that anyone in this business would know about SOX.
