Todaro Notary Update

Andrea Called me Saturday Night and is going to make every effort to get paid by Direct Settlements so that every Notary will be paid in full. I said in a prevoius message, "if Todaro Notary redeem themselves....I will let you all know." This looks good for Andrea. She made the effort to call and talk, which is way more than any other signing agents would ever do. I'll give her a major plus for calling. Smile Lets give her another chance.

More empty words. No plus' until the check for all monies owed has cleared your bank account. You should act like a business and begin collections or you'll continue to be strung along. Here is my suggestion on how to collect owed monies, starting on the 61st day of non-payment.

***Send Todaro [located in Cleveland, Ohio] a demand letter by certified mail, regular mail, fax and email. State that they have by X date to send your check or you will contact and seek payment from ALL those who've benefited from your notarial services - the loan officer, the lender, the title company. Suggest that they overnight the check to you so it arrives on time. Include in the letter the actual contact person's name and office addresses of the loan officer, lender and title company - so Todaro knows you mean business. Also, include in the letter that you will notify the Attorney General and the Secretary of State of Ohio, where Todaro is located, your personal attorney, and other notaries public on forums and boards and report the details, facts and circumstances of non-payment. Also include the full contact person's name and office address of the Ohio Attorney General and Secretary of State. Be prepared to follow through with what you are promising in the demand letter.

Send the demand letter by certified and regular mail on a Thursday with the deadline for payment being the next Thursday. The letters should arrive at Todaro's office by Monday. On Monday, fax and email the same letter with Thursday's deadline date. Again, suggest that Todaro FedEx the check so it arrives on time. If the check is not received by the Thursday deadline, follow through on everything promised in the letter.***

Whether Andrea (or whoever) has to borrow the money to pay you from her uncle Walter or take a cash advance on her credit card....that is not your problem. You completed the work in good faith and should be paid as contracted, period. SS's will straigten up their act when Notaries start acting like a business!! JMHO

IMO they were reading this board. Why else would you get a call on a Sat. night?
Again, they're making your payment contingent on their getting wait. Wake up!

Your response should be...

... show me the money. Nothing else counts.

(sorry for the previous empty post - I double-clutched...)

Todaro National Notary Signing, Inc

When I call the number listed in SC, it is disconnected. What does that tell you.
