What do you think about these lender instructions...
This loan is for a Nevada property and in the lender instructions says that all the docs have to be sign in blue pen except for the Deed of Trus,t that has to be in black. My question is about the Riders, do the bwrs must sign them in black too or in blue, like the rest of the docs. Thank you for your time and advise to answer.

I would have them sign the riders in black also.
If you can't reach the hiring party and want to cover yourself, print an extra copy of the riders and have them signed in blue. You can verify which is the correct one before you ship and shred the extra copy or just send both with notes on them and let the TC shred the one they don't need.

Ask the originator of the instructions ...
Absent being able to reach them, I would follow the instructions to a "T". Everything in blue except the DOT.

Someone from that state might be able to better answer, but my guess would be that they will also want the riders in black. It's probably the difference between a lender requirement and a recording requirement -- but if you follow the recommendations given above, you'll be safe. Sounds like your thinking was on the right track, though. Also, to be on the safe side, be sure your certificate on the DOT has a full 1" margin all the way around, including any border, in case you replace it.

Since riders to the DOT are considered a part of the DOT, they too would be signed in black. (Riders are referenced in the DOT as being a part of the instrument, and they are recorded with the DOT.)

Ditto...PAW
Most Nevada Counties ( I believe all) requiresblack ink for recording purposes.

Re: update
I spoke with Title today and she said that the black ink for recording purposes was an old law that is not applicable anymore. Now it does not matter the color of the ink. The instructions from the lender were not accurate. Great ,they let me know after the signing......
