The latest BofA loan I signed did not have signature lines on the TIL. I've never seen this before. Anyone else?

Re: Bank of American Loans - TIL no signature line
Yes, and I have asked the borrower(s) to sign and date in the blank space at the bottom.

B of A packages have been like that for years. Actually, they used to have an initial on the 2nd page with the definitions, but I've noticed lately they don't have that either. I'm not aware of any requirement that the TIL be signed by the borrowers, just that they each get a copy of it.

I have them sign/date anyway but not req n/m

I see them unsigned here in Ohio for the last month or so.

Why are you having bo sign & date a document when it is not required? No signature line means they do not need a signature.

Agree with Claudine:
no signature line...no signature....unless otherwise instructed.
Also, no initial slot...no initials....unless otherwise instructed.
It's worked for me for 10 years--- never heard a peep from anybody.

Why? Because they are a self-important notary going above and beyond and into decision making territory.

I asked the simple question of "has anyone seen this before". I asked because I had not. But as usual some member of the supreme court of NR (who clearly takes their position seriously since they're online posting at 1:30am) takes the time to insult another member who took the time to write.
FYI Julianne, the closing manager at the title company said although there was no signature line the borrowers could sign anywhere on the document.

mwm: whoever you are -
The response was not to you, but if the shoe fits by all means wear it.
NNA always tells everyone to just sign & initial everywhere - and they are wrong on so much. I see your learning curve.
See the black button that says Report - use it sweetie pie, don't be shy.

Here's the story, thanx to Paul Williamson (aka PAW): "Pursuant to Title 12 - Truth in Lending Act, the disclosure must be made in writing, but no evidence of acceptance is required. However, many lenders want that extra bit of proof that the disclosures were provided, so they require an initialed or signed statement to that fact." 'Nuff said.
