Crazy EOM

Haven't had an EOM like this in a loooooogggg time. Yest I had nothing scheduled, then booked 5 signings for today all after 4. Left house at 3pm & got back around 12:30am. Just wrapping up everything & it is now 1am. I also have another one for tomm. Lovin' it but super tired too. Good EOM to all!!!

I used to do that. My longest day was eight signings and

over 300 miles logged. I just won't pull those 16 hour days anymore, I guess because I don't need to. I paid off my debts with that hard labor for a few years, and have culled my regulars and area to a more manageable and less stressful schedule and fee scale - fairer winds.

A good work ethic never failed anyone. And the wind will be the wind.

My beloved mother passed away Wednesday at age 93.

Between funeral, family, emotional and religious oblgations, I had to turn down a whole bunch of EOM work.
She is , at last, at rest and back beside my father, her beloved husband of over 40 years. They loved to
dance, and I like to believe that they were dancing together in heaven Wednesday night.
Rest in peace , Mom.
The volume of calls bodes well for a good October.
Thanks to some wonderful Notroters who were able to cover the jobs that I had accepted prior to
the 6am hospital "call"

Your word "Beloved" is a testament to her life.

I only pray and hope that I live my life so well that I have a wonderful, generous, loving son when I am 93 to call me "beloved". What a blessing you were to her...and what a blessing she was to this world as evidence that she produced and nurtured you to become who you are. May this wonderful woman rest in peace.

I am sorry for your loss because I know you will deeply miss her.

My sympathy and sorrow for you and yours.
