Eliminating the SOS in WI?

They are actually discussing this today in the State Senate. Also considering eliminating the Lieutenant Governor position

That's what they are saying. They point out that the senator proposing it is a republican and both positions are held by dems. I don't know what that has to do with the price of eggs though.
Since they are constitutional positions, it would have to be put to a vote by the citizens.
