I was unaware of the Scams going on with this company. They are aka Centrury21 Legal Services. They prepare modification agreements to supposeldy help customers that have gone into/on their way into foreclosure by lowering thier rate & payment. They'll ask them to provide 3 checks post dated for the next 3 months as well. Also beware of The R&R Group, LLC (broker shop) out of Indianpolis, IN 46202. They are working with FNL Services to get some of these poor customers. If you do your homework on these, the customers shoudln't be making payments to anyone but their mtg company and shouldn't be paying any fees to do this modification agreement.

We have been trying to spread the word, Teesha. The problem is that only a small % of notaries participate in these forums. This company & ones like it are under investigation at the federal & state levels. Many states have put new laws in place to clearly make this practice illegal. VA put a law on the books this past July, specifically making it illegal to charge the large upfront fees for services not yet performed. There's no notary work involved, and IMO the company is really getting the notary to be their accomplice.
