MY new tray works!

Thanks to all of you who encouraged me to get an extra tray. It was very easy to install and only cost me $49. I didn't have to be a rocket scientist to install it either!

Now remember to check the box "Choose Paper Source by PDF page size" when printing dual sized documents. That way you can load both trays and Boom - out comes the pages printed on the correct sizes.

Is this tray is for your HP1320? I have a "standard" 1320 and thought someone said that you couldn't add an additional tray to that model to make it work as a dual tray like the 1320tn. I would like to convert my 1320 to dual tray but didn't think it was possible. This would be great news for other 1320 owners.

Yes, it's a "standard" 1320.

Be sure to order part # Q5931A. That's the bottom tray. I got mine on Ebay for $49. I just finished printing docs for tomorrow. It worked like a charm!

Just be sure to go into your printers and faxes folder and change the settings. Also, as David said be sure to change your print setting to print according to pdf size.

This prompted me to go to EBay to see if I could find a second tray. I did a search for my MFC-8460N, and lo and behold, a seller had 10! And at less than half the price, including shipping, from retail stores.

Since I have 2 machines, I ordered one for each. Now I am ready to really rock!!
