Notary Work - California
Does anyone have any experience with NotaryWork in Dana Point, CA? 4 attempts at getting paid have resulted in his (the owner? One man show perhaps?) saying he has been very busy but he pays so he's not worried. Of course he's not worried - I'm the one who is owed money!! Thanks for any input.

I have a closing scheduled for 12/18/09 with NotaryWork and have had a difficult time communicating with him. After reading the posts I will not be performing this closing. My instinct was correct!!

I performed a closing for Guy in November 2009 and have not received payment, despite several e-mailed and snail-mailed invoices. My advice is don't work for this company.

Sara, I have made numerous attempts to collect past due monies. He is a one man show and scam artist. I contacted the title company and they cc'd me on the email they sent to him. Another thing I know to do at this point is contact Lawyers Title Business and Ethics divisions at 1800-441-6552. You can also contact the CA attorney general in attempt to have his notary license revoked. Please call me if you need anymore help. Unfortunately I have yet to be paid but I will purse all options. My number is 910-262-2992.

I did a closing for $90 on Jan. 25th 2010 for this outfit and have not been paid. Calls to the office are met with an answering machine with no follow through. My only recourse is to keep faxing my invoice frequently on a daily basis. Strongly agree with previous posts to avoid this company and wonder how an outfit like this stays in business.

Thansk, Shelly, I will contact the title company and report him to the AG. I even had a collection agency send him a letter and he never replied.

This is my last and final offer to "GUY" with NotaryWork and Lawyers Title Company, Diane Mason...I'm contacting the borrowers that own the property I did the refinance on and requesting payment for services rendered. If I do not get paid I will file a lien against the property. You should consider doing the same Sara!
