Office depot deal blew me away.
I have a rewards card and had gotten a mailing a few weeks back for $16.01 in rewards cash and then a couple coupons a few days later for $15 off $75 purchase. Threw them in the car and yesterday had some slack time so decide to go use it.
I bought 2 cases of OD Multipurpose letter size paper because it was $39.99 per and then you get a $16.00 prepaid visa for sending in rebate, also bought $12.99 case of 144 binderclips and $1.00 box of paperclips. I get to checkout, pull out my rewards card and find a 30% off coupon for the same paper.
I paid 43.36 for 2 cases paper, binder clips and paperclips and still get $32.00 back in visa rebate...$11.36 actual total for all...I felt very blessed and lucky....just had to share.

One More Thing I Like About Office Depot
They are still one of the few companies that will give you a credit for recycling laser printer cartridges. And the way I go through them, that does add up.

Staples is another one
So very true! I do the same thing. No more refilling cartridges. I now buy inexpensive, refurbished toner cartridges, then recycle them at either OD or Staples, getting back $3.00 each in the form of store credits. I think OD reimburses quarterly and Staples monthly. for me, those rebates more than cover miscellaneous supplies like binder clips, file folders, etc. I get a better deal on paper at Costco, but if I didn't need any other supplies, I'd use it for paper, too.
And you are so right about all these savings adding up. At the end of the year, it can represent some serious coin!!!! (Important to watch expiration dates on these, though. These programs are designed to get us into the stores frequently. I'd bet the vast majority end up spending more than the credits they earn. I think I did get cash back at Staples one time, though. That was exciting!! )

Re: Staples is another one
Ran out of binder clips so I dropped into Staples last week to pick some up. They were out of the boxes that are shrink-wrapped together (usually much cheaper), so I just grabbed one of the round containers of 24 to hold me over for a couple of days...they were marked $4.79 ea (ouch!). BUT, when I got up to the register, they must've been unmarked clearance....they rang up at $.99/container of 24. Yes, I went back and cleaned the aisle out....oh, happy day!

Re: Office depot new coupon $15 off.
New coupon $15 off $60. Coupon number is 10638326. Can use on line or in store. Expires 9/24. Don't know if you need to be Rewards Member to use it. I wouldn't think so but who knows.
