Soliciting Calls

I had a California call yesterday and it was solicitation from notarygal.com and the voice said to check this web site out and join....... guess who the first two advertisements are....NNA.
Any thoughts???

No law against marketing. It sounds like they're taking a new approach. Many companies offer free memberships for referrals.

The website "notarygal.com" is a placeholder only. There is no content. When a domain exists, but no site code, a directory is often displayed Note the disclaimer at the bottom of the page:

The owner of the site (or non-owner...whoever is hosting it) is clearly using google ads. Not an uncommon way to create value for a parked site.

Better ways to go about it though than spending time calling people to look at the site.

I had a title company tell me that for them to continue using me I had to be certified and my background check done by NNA. They wouldn't accept anything else. I have done work for this company on and off for a number of years and never had a problem.

I called them to see if they had some personal involvement with NNA (a relative or something) and was told no but that someone in management had just been hired and it was his directive. Sounds funny to me.

I agree with you Bonnie...It sounds fishy to me also and appears you have been had with this company. With all of the experience you have and the years involved in this business why would they tell you something like that now!

bonnie - who is the company? Would you PM me if you don't want it publically disclosed?

Thanks,
tish
