My bad day starts about 3:30 a.m. when I wake up and have to go to the restroom. I wake up, and my mind makes me re-live the problems I didn't fix today, and those that I will have to fix tomorrow, or at some time in the future. Sometimes I'm actually able to go back to sleep until 5:30, or so, and sometimes I can't.
What did I do yesterday that I didn't get done, and what do I need to do today to make up for what I didn't get done yesterday? Have you ever just felt totally burned out? I have.
I've found over the years that when I feel burned out that I HAVE to take a vacation. It's the only thing that works to bring me back to life again. Doesn't have to be a BIG vacation, but one that lets me THINK, and work out the difficulties of my life. Sometimes a weekend in Dallas works. Sometimes I need a week here or there or there to give me a chance to chill out. Sometimes just a nice dinner or a night out works.
I think that buying a dozen roses for my Darlin heals me. I think I owe her another dozen, just to tell her I Love Her!
Thank you for the reminder! JJ

Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens;
Oscar Hammerstein II and Richard Rodgers
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens; Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens; Brown paper packages tied up with strings; These are a few of my favorite things.
Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple strudels; Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles; Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings; These are a few of my favorite things.
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes; Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes; Silver-white winters that melt into springs; These are a few of my favorite things.
When the dog bites, When the bee stings, When I'm feeling sad, I simply remember my favorite things, And then I don't feel so bad.

Try thinking of your significant other and listen to " Waltz across Texas"
