About mistakes ...

did a closing last week and as usual went over the docs and off to Fedex.
Yesterday I get a call that I forgot to put the owner's affidavit in the package ... Thinking that maybe I overlooked ,drove home in between 2 closings and was already thinking *shoot that will cost me a fedex* ... turned my desk upside down and no doc to be found ... went into the file on my pc and reviewed page by page ... no owner's affidavit to be found so called them back to notify them ... at first they werte convinced I lost it ... in the end they verified and called me back with a simple : The doc was not in the package we emailed you so it is ok.
Not a *I am sorry for your waste of time* and not a *do we owe you anything for the tylenol you had to buy*

As Susan said in her post : mor and more mistakes, delays with docs etc ...

I learned a long time ago that they love to play with your mind. I'm sceptical when they say something like that to me because I KNOW what I receive and print. They're just looking for an excuse not to pay you. They play games but I don't play their game. Make them prove it. I had a similar incident not long ago. I knew they were lying. She tried to make me the scapegoat. They hadn't sent me all the documents and was short one page. Well, we went back and forth with it and she told me I wasn't going to get paid. I screamed and threatend because she was lying. She finally admitted it was her fault because I pinned her to the wall and they paid me. Isn't this business great? NOT

Sometimes they will forget to include the preprinted shipping label!
