Adobe 9.3
I have been experiencing very slow printing of pdf files from a website...I have been hearing recently that adobe 9.3 may be the problem as other users are complaining of the same problem....Has anyone else experienced this slow printing issue? Thanks

Not only that, sometimes some of the pages come out with "garbage" (an illegible font).
In those instances where PDF docs are loaded to a website but printing directly from the website causes problems, save the docs on your hard drive and print the docs from your hard drive instead of from the website. Much faster.

Be sure you are using the latest version: Adobe 9.3.2
Also, as mentioned, download the document to your local PC and print. Printing from a website means that the "packets" travel between the website server and your PC, pieces at a time. By downloading and printing from your PC, means that the communication doesn't get bogged down with internet traffic and congestion.

I just tested a file by saving to my pc and printing...Sad to sad but the slow printing is the very same as printing directly from the website...

Is the PDF and "image" file. That is, are the pages really images of the scanned page? The easy way to find out is to search for a commonly used word, such as "Mortgage". If the Reader can't find the word, but you can see it clearly on the page, then the file is probably and image file. Image files take a lot longer to print than text files.
Other ways to tell if it is an image file instead of a text file is by the file size. Image files are much, much larger (in the multi-megabyte range) than text files. Also, look that the file's properties using File-Properties menu in the Reader. Then check the fonts tab. If there are no fonts listed, the file is probably and image file. Especially if all the other hints are true.
