HAPPY EARTH WEEK!

Hope you're all finding a way to give back to nature today....GREEN is where it's at. Wish there was a way to recycle all these six foot weeds I have this year. What can you do with rag weed, scotch broom, dollar weeds, and that annoying crab grass? Can't smoke it, can't use it in soups, it's a complete waste except to keep the moisture in the ground around the vines...OSH offering deals in veggies and it's a NO TAX weekend, they pay it for you! somehow that's a deal, I think.

All the best for a great GREEN week...15 year loans are the lowest/best deal out there....let's hope n pray for a spike. I'm going to be in Des Moines May 5-10. Looking forward to hooking up with NR folks on one of these days. May 5 is a travel day, May 6 is my fiance's birthday, so May 7 is the best! Will see if we can connect.

I have worm castings in four worm condo boxes. Weeds are mountains high! I don't put weeds into my worm boxes. They go over the hillside. Need a rolloff this year for weed transfer.

Dead weeds are still organic material. They make just as good compost as anything else you can toss in - egg shells, coffee grounds, grass clippings, whatever... Worms don't really care, it's all the same to them. Tossing the weeds over the hillside is not exactly eco-friendly, if that's what you're after...

I am SO tired of hearing about Green

But I do give props to the people in charge of ramming the global warming scam down our throats, I'm sure they never thought they'd never get as many gullible people to join the cult as they did. Even with all the information that's come out about the bad science, manipulation of data, and outright lying that they've done, many people still treat global warming like it's a factual epidemic and don't even question why so much deception has been used in the science.

And it's a great way for politicians and organizations to justify higher rates or taxes, here in LA the mayor is supporting an increase of up to 30% in our electric bills because they NEED the money for future green products. And if that drives companies out of business or puts even more strain on the people who are barely scraping by month to month, tough noogies, because IT'S GREEN!!!!!

Re: I am SO tired of hearing about Green

I am SO tired of hearing about what a scam climate change is. This line of illogic is perpetrated by the same sort of people who salivate over the cult conspiracy theories of Alex Jones and who would accept the slimmest of alleged "evidence," if it just fit their particular ideology, against the most rigorous of scientific findings.

But wherever I hear about the supposed scam, I should not be reading about it in this forum. It should be in Just Politics.

All of which proves the words of the philosopher Kermit - it's not easy being green...

Well thank you for being straightforward

And not burying it in a buttload of bad romance novel prose like you usually do.
