N3 Notary Public, Portland, OR

called yesterday afternoon and asked if I have laptop and air card and would I be available for an e-sign in San Francisco on Friday. I advise I'm fully equipped for e-signings and have facilitated numerous e-signings and I am available Friday. She then offered $65. Very nicely, I said, "No, my fee for e-signings is $XXX." She said, "Oh ... let me see if I can get that approved."

Haven't heard back ..... of course.

People are accepting $65 for an e-sign --- with your own equipment??????

There are 2 N3 firms listed in SC for Portland, OR. One with very few reviews (that's who called me, per phone #) and the other with very poor reviews. Very similar names, same city -- are they maybe one and same company? Given the reviews, probably a good thing they wouldn't meet my fee!

I googled them but only came up with one address. Do you asked them to include bridge toll also? A lot of SS don't even know you gotta cross a bridge!

I just asked because I have found that when I'm negotiating my fee I will add the comment about toll which get's me an extra five bucks. Also parking, if the signing is downtown you're talking $24.00..S F Notaries charge close to $2XX

How much is the toll now? I remember the days where we played the game of paying for the car behind us as good deed LOL Not sure we could still afford to play that game!

This is a company to stay away from. I finally collected my fee but he is the nastiest person I have ever come across. He had his attorney call me because I threatened him with legal action and I told his att'y all about the problem and he said I will make sure you get paid. 4 days later I received the check. I have their # blocked. Would never take another thing from them.

cawest/PA - there's the Benicia bridge on hwy 680 and then there's the Carquinez bridge on hwy 80. Both have always had a toll going towards Sacramento.

Ok Imust have forgotten my numbers is 80 the one from Sac to SF? or is it still 50 as I was living in the Hills going into South Lake ... so 50 to Sac, than to SF ... and the bridge I refer to is the one that they did rebuild about 7 years ago ...

"see if I can get that approved."

Means "I am going to call someone else to see if I can get it cheaper." I just got a call from them asking me to do a loan mod for $25. I told her everyone else pays $50. She gave me the 'see if I can get that approved' line and I told her good luck with that.
