Renewing commission in CA

A fellow notary told me today that CA notaries are no longer allowed to take on-line classes to renew. I don't think I believe him. Just thought I'd check with you guys. Thanks.

California SOS website still lists vendors offering online

classes. May I refer you to

http://www.sos.ca.gov/business/notary

and you can check for yourself.

Re: California SOS website still lists vendors offering online

I spoke to a friend just yesterday who said she found a very inexpensive on-line option. Better yet, become a Premier member here and take the very good NotRot online class for free.

Totally untrue...

There are tons of approved, and VERY GOOD online notary courses. In fact, some of the best ones are offered online.
