U.S. Certified Signers - nine months later
Wow, it’s only been nine months and I still haven’t been paid. 20 Emails, 6 demand letters, , BBB, FTC, SOS, Court action and still….the owner , Michael LaFrencis, who told the Judge, “we’re not a no – paying company”, still hasn’t paid me for work I’ve done…I guess I’ll have to go to plan “H”. Serving the CFO of the Title Company’s parent company might draw some attention. Fidelity is the name I believe.

Didn't you counter sue when they took you to court?

I don't know who you are, I have been bombarded with a lot of hate mail about this so you'll have to identify yourself if you want me to answer.

Calnotary certainly has some nerve
asking a question about a subject that you decided to broadcast to the world by posting on this board, many many times. You are certainly right in treating her like she's way out of line for participating in your discussion.

Re: Calnotary certainly has some nerve
There's an old saying, "people hate like they use to love"! You must have been in love with me at some point in time because you are consistently showing you colors..must be nice to hide and attack. As far as Calnotary, I was only stating a fact.
Calnotary, no disrespect intended, I'll be happy to talk to you and explain once I verify you are NOT one of the people who I've had to block from emailing me.

Why hate mail? Because you've been brave enough to be vocal about a situation that can set a precedent for others in our industry?
BTW, I know why James didn't counter sue... I asked him the same question. And frankly, his reasoning for it is right on, and very well advised.

I feel your pain!...things are very slow and lots of Notaries aren't being paid. My bus has droped 75%. Hoping things turn around.

Thanks Sal...I'm really not in pain, I promised I'd keep this forum informed of this and that's what I'm doing. If I choose to call out someone in public for not paying me, I'm making my fellow notaries aware of the possibilities...which is a great part of what this forum is about. Not all of our experiences are ever going to be the same but although I've don nothing wrong, I've been wronged. Hey, from what I get from other owners of SS (who wrote letters to the judge explaining what a REAL signing service does), I'm doing the right thing,...silly me huh?

I know you beat him on the case he filed against you, but I thought you already filed in small claims for the money he owes you.

Mike, I don't know if you remember I told this forum he added to the judge he reads this forum so we really don't want to answer this here, check PM.

I'm confused. Wasn't your court date & award just last mo.?
Also, you filed another suit against them, didn't you?

Re: I'm confused. Wasn't your court date & award just last mo.?
I still have not been paid. Okay, When you win a judgment you must allow time to get paid. If they don't pay you then you must put a lien against the property, cash receipts, bank accounts, etc. It is not automatic.
