slow printing
Recently, I have been experiencing extremely slow printing of docs...It's like each page is being formatted and then printed..Maybe 20 seconds between each page...It's with one lender that I have done quite a bit of business with and they have always printed extremely fast....They don't seem to know the problem....Could it be from my side? Any help will be appreciated...Thanks

Have you tried restarting your computer?

Re: Contact sender. Have them resend docs
Check your printer settings to be sure you don't have it set "print as image". If that is not the problem, try breaking up the package into 20 pages at a time. That sometimes helps.

Re: Contact sender. Have them resend docs
that's weird. Sometimes, when I have slow/troublesome pdf's , I check the "print as image" setting and it goes thru and much faster...

If you've still got some files hanging around that printed quickly, try printing them. When testing, print the whole package, if that's what you did before. Printing only a few papges probably won't get the same results! If the file prints slowly, there's a problem with either the printer or the PC. If the file prints quickly, then it's the new files.
Not to insult you: After a few test pages from old files have printed you can cancel printing so that you don't print the whole old package. (Sorry, the teacher in me can't resist!)

See if they can let you go to the link they are sending from. I had this happen just the other night and it really messed my computer up to the point where I don't think I'll take anymore from that company. First clue was when they tried sendifg me docs and they were kicked back. They split them and they came through but took hours to print. This was not a huge pkg, something wrong on the senders side.
