Laser Printer...LexMark T640 Network Duplex
Hello, Getting ready to purchase on eBay a LexMark Laser Printer T640 Network Duplex. Does anyone know anything about this printer? Any feedback would be much appreciated!
Any suggestions about a GOOD Laser Printer! Are you happy with your laser printer?

I don't know anything about the printer in question. However, to me, one of the most important prerequisites when buying any of these electronic products (printer, Computer, etc) is the warranty behind them. There are some real good deals on e-bay on items but the question for me remains in "How good and how long is the warranty". In fact, if you use your American Express card to purchase a new printer, computer, etc. the warranty is extended an additional year.

All of the Beneficial and Household Finance offices purchased LexMark printers in the dual tray and triple tray versions. I used to sign a lot of those loans for three years and I was privy to the problems they experienced (mechanically) with LexMark printers. They seemed to be a little more prone to breakdown than the HP printers, the 4000, 4100 4200 series (Over 10 years I have used all of these). I am curently using two HP 4200 dual tray printers that I purchased with less than 180,000 copies on them for $500 each. Find out how many copies are on these LexMark printers. You want to shop around and be sure you can get service, and toner cartridges at a reasonable price. I like to touch and feel (old fashioned) the product and have a guarantee that I can actually use, so I purchase my printers from the largest HP service center in ABQ. If something goes haywire, I can take it 7 miles away and it's usually fixed within the day, or I get a loaner for free. Just be careful when purchasing online.

I was raving about the Lexmark printers.
I have another business where we provide vertical turn installations for manufacturing businesses. Over the past 23 years we have been installing various models of Lexmarks without a problem. At the present our clients are using over 400 of these printers. They are least costly to run and maintain. Look into them, you will not be sorry.
You could print the docs for a 120 pp closing in 3 minutes or less. The multiple drawer set up work without a problem and is very easy to set up. More important is the cost per page, which is about a half cent for consumables. You can get 15,000 page toner cartridges for under $70, which also includes the drum.
If you have any questions or comments you can IM me.
