Nations Direct.

Wow...obviously Nations Direct has received a strong contract with some lenders. They are calling me several times a day, however, for their ridiculous low ball fees I refuse to even consider!!! Once or twice they have agreed to my fee. Next time they call I am going to ask them to put my fee in my file and not to bother calling me unless they are willing to pay, they are wasting my time and my minutes. The scary thing is, agents are doing e-doc loan signings with fax backs for 60.00!!!! :o They rarely call back and agree to my fee so notaries are running around with their heads chopped off for peanuts!!! It's just a shame this company got such a lucrative contract/s. NaNa

Had to vent... :/

They're probably only charging the lender $100

You'd be amazed how much business you can drum up when you only charge 2/3 of what you should be.

N3 Notary

Received a call yesterday for an e-closing. $65. I countered with $175, they said, would you do it for $150. Yes. Okay, let me see if I can get that approved. No call back. In the meantime, I checked out NR. Boy, did I dodge a bullet.

Re: N3 Notary

I keep seeing on my local Craigslist that N3 is always hiring for schedulers, FWIW. Have you paid to join them and is it worth it? (Your last post indicates no, but I'm curious about overall)

I would never pay any SS to be put into their data base. Oh, Shauna, bite your tongue. Ha!

I've had them call me a lot, lately, too. Mainly because I have a broadband card. Last time they called they wanted me to drive 2 hours to a signing (and then 2 hours back!) do all the e-signing stuff, plus fax backs. For $80.

Needless to say, I can't even contemplate doing it for that price.

I fired them last week after a huge fiasco.
Received docs 20 minutes before signing, had a 1 hour drive.
MULTIPLE CALLS FROM THEM!
6 pages of faxbacks including - now sit down - faxing back their fedex label!
I called them and told the to take me out of their database. Haven't heard from them since and I am not crying.
There are customers that you do not want.

They call be all the time with their low ball fees. I've asked numerous times for them to take me out of their database. It's just a waste of their time and mine for them to call me. They still keep calling me anyway. I put an eerie ring tone in my phone for them so when they call I know not to answer. I can't believe they can get any Notaries to work for them!

Ooh, I like using a special ring for them - LOL! I did a job for them today and likely won't do another. Too many pages to fax back - they said they didn't need the FedEx label this time... Plus even though the job was confirmed on Friday the 14th, I didn't get edocs until about 7 pm on the 18th. We had company at our house and I had to take time away from them to print. Why so late on the docs??? All in all a real pain.
