Paypal

Is it not possible for these companies to pay the Notaries immediately via Paypal? Why should I have to wait 15 - 30 days to receive payment and take a chance not getting paid?

This is still America (I think). You can still conduct your business the way you want. If you want to be paid in front by PayPal or other means, do so. If you feel like extending credit to those that hire you, knowing that they usually only get paid when/if the loan funds, do so. If you want credible answers here link to your post so we know who, and where you are, enabling us to answer in a more definitive way.

Gee, she posted with her real name and the site added her state. I can't imagine what additional information she could possible give that would allow a more definitive answer. Seems to me that people answered pretty much the way they would have to anyone else.

You can always make that request although I wouldn't set my expectations too high. The only time I've heard of that being done is when the hiring party is in a bind and has a poor payment history then there's some leverage on the part of the NSA in terms of demanding payment up front. I've been paid twice in that manner in 5+ years.

The orange search button is your best friend ...

There are tons of posts on this site covering the subject. ....... Some have reported success, most have reported frustration ............

As easy as it goes in, the sender can just as easily

take it back. Then you have a fight on your hands with Paypal being the referee.

No, Cari. I really wanted to know what were the chances of asking the to pay by Paypal. I'm getting some good responses that are helpful.

Because that's how business works. Take it or leave it.

Not only possible, but with much success. Love those who

PayPal. More the merrier. Like Cash on the Barrelhead.

Two thumbs up.

LaDetricia,
I just wanted to tell you not to worry about not linking your profile. It's a matter of personal choice and has absolutely no bearing on the "credibility" of your questions or the "credibility" of the answers from knowledgeable notaries, who are interested in helping, learning, sharing opinions, etc. Some on here can't grasp the concept that people can post with a forum name and actually be a real person! Shocking! I mean really it's not like someone posting as "anonymous" and then you'd never know if it was the same person or multitudes of different people. Posting with the same forum name linked or not, the others get to know you and learn to respect you for your posts or not based on what you post, not whether or not you're linked. IMO it's just a case of total nosiness and is ridiculous!! Besides, I have to wonder when a particular person makes the statement that he doesn't read posts that aren't linked how he manages to respond to them...... Hmmmm interesting. Must be ESP!!
