I can't remember what it is called, but a few years ago when we changed #'s there was a service that we used where they could forward or re-direct the numbers called to our old number, and transfer to our new number. It wasn't something our phone company offered but a different company all together. It gave us a chance to make sure all the companies we did business with would still be able to contact us. Of course we gave out our new # but this obviously worked for the companies that dialed our old number by accident. Then eventually over a few months we stopped the forwarding service. I'd goggle it to see if there's anything in your area like that. Good luck!
