Pier National Notary

What, if anything , has anyone done about collecting for NSF checks from Pier National notary?

I can't really answer your questions, as I've never worked for them.... but I found it pretty ironic that they themselves posted this right here at NotRot:

"We hear you! Not getting paid sucks!"

I did a signing for them a year ago and they didn't even bother to send an NSF check!

Take the check to your local county district attorney. They will collect it for you and you could be entitled to up to 3x the amount of the check. I am sure if you check the local civil website they will have instructions for you. This has been a long standing practice in Cali. I used them years ago in Fresno when my husband and I had a business. It is against the law to write a bad check in Cali. I have also used the Sheriff in the past to collect a small claims judgement. They charge a small fee but will either take it out of the bank account or in a retail situation they will go take the money right out of their register if the bank account is emtpy.
