Usually means it's a scratched OPC drum (if you lift the cover over the roller, you might be able to see the scratch on the green plastic film) which is common when the cartridge is near the end of it's life. However, if you just bought it, then it usually means they may not have changed out the OPC drum when they refurbished the cartridge. The drum usually gets scratched over the life of the cartridge since its always in contact with the paper, but a new cartridge should be scratch free. Once the drum is scratched, you have to replace it or else you will keep getting that thin dotted line along all your pages. I am starting to wonder if LD may have changed their refurbishing vendor since NOT replacing the OPC drum unit in a cartridge can save a lot of $$$....
