There's an easy way to get paid!

There's an easy way to get paid. I discovered that when I mention Notary Rotary and that they will get a low rating if they don't pay me, they pay me right away. Some companys have never heard of Notary Rotary and so I explain it to them. They don't want to get a low rating, so they pay. I should have thought of that before. Good luck collecting, everyone.

Sounds like it should work, EXCEPT, when I posted a negative about The Notary Biz, they put me at the bottom of their list to be paid. Didn't work at all. Did the opposite. Good Luck.

You can always let them know that you will contact borrower/title company. always works great. but be nice and don't be mean. Always don't assume that they didn't pay you, but say that your records don't show a payment for that particular file. I found that if I am polite, professional and respectful, I get paid fast and they call me back. But if you've tried, tried and tried to collect, then simply state you will email the Escrow Officer in 24 hours if you don't get a check confirmation from them.

Don't ever contact the borrower or threaten to. They have

nothing to do with contracting your services. It's a big industry no-no!

Re: Don't ever contact the borrower or threaten to. They have

I have tried all of it with sunset signings except contacting the borrower. I have faxed, called, emailed, sent the form letter, contacted the title co, used every threat known.. still no pay. In october it will be one yr.

The TC, LO, and lender will begin to care once they are named in a small claims filing.

Robin..only

If you haven't been paid there is NO rule that says you cannot contact anyone you chose to, not even the a T.V. news station or the president of the United States. You may still not be paid but I bet you will feel a lot better. U.S. Certified Signers hasn't paid me and the Owner, Michael Lafrencis told the judge, "We are not a none paying company..."!

Robin do whatever you makes you feel like doing!!!

Re: Robin..only

I was stiffed by 2 SS recently. I called & emailed and did all the stuff I was 'supposed to', with no result at all. So I wrote to the TC, they told me they paid the SS, so it was no longer their problem. I don't think so. I then fowarded their email response to the lender. I got paid within 2 days, payment sent FedEx and the other went via PayPal. If an SS is stiffing you, why do you want to continue to do business with them now? We must stand up for ourselves, we are a subcontractor to the TC through the SS. The TC or subsequently was been 'unjustly enriched' because of our efforts. We NSA's must continue to fight for our pay if necessary. Don't be afraid. If enough NSA's take the same attitude we'll make progress towards getting these bad guys out of business.

Re: Robin..only

Great points and i'm glad you got paid but deadbeat SS should also be exposed for all to see. Would you mind sharing which 2 SS stiffed you. TIA
